Thursday May 30, 2013

The South Burlington Dolphins will host the annual registration for the 2013 football season at their newly established  “Pride Complex” located at 1234 Williston Road (behind Zachary’s Pizza adjacent to Jaycee Park) on Saturday June 1st from 4pm – 6pm.  The registration is open to children of South Burlington and Williston residents who are currently in grades 1-8.   The Dolphins will feature several age appropriate football teams for 2013, all of which will promote athleticism and teach fundamental skills, teamwork, and pride for individual daily effort.  The registration will also feature an open house to show off the newly established Pride Complex, which will facilitate the Dolphin teams with locker rooms, a training center, administrative offices, coaches offices, and a trophy room.  Parents and children alike are invited to tour the new facility before the 2013 teams hit their lockers!

Also new for 2013 will be a Summer Speed School, which will be open to all children regardless of whether they intend to play Dolphins Football this year.  The Speed School is a FREE school directed by volunteers dedicated to developing young athletes.  Registration into the Speed School will take place at the Open House.  Coaches will be available to answer questions and share advice and experiences.  Questions about the program or player eligibility can be directed to Rene Laberge at (802) 863-5134.  Dolphins football is an all volunteer Youth Football program which has served area youth since 1967.
