Piero Bonamico treated a rapt and enthusiastic audience to a most enjoyable performance on Saturday night, March 30th at Higher Ground.

Mr. Bonamico’s fabulous vocal range, great sense of Cabaret style and warmth while interacting with the audience proved how lucky we are to have a performer of his caliber in Vermont. The intimate nature of the Showcase Lounge added to the feeling of excitement in the room. The standing ovation was most certainly deserved!

The selections were funny, bawdy, poignant, and heartfelt. The audience was treated to some wonderful cocktail specials made with Barr Hill Spirits which were generously donated by Vermont’s own Caledonia Spirits in Hardwick.

Mr. Bonamico is the Director of the South Burlington Community Chorus and agreed to perform his Cabaret act as a fundraiser for the Chorus. The Chorus wants to express its gratitude to Piero and all those who came out to support them and make this event a success. They also want to thank everyone at Higher Ground for their enthusiasm and help with the event.

The South Burlington Community Chorus is honored to have been asked to be the closing Community Performance at this year’s Burlington Discover Jazz Festival on June 9th at 4 pm. They hope to see you all!
