The United States Air Force released a revised F-35A Operations Environmental Impact Statement Friday, May 31. The revised EIS includes new information from the 2010 census. 


“We are pleased the Air Force took the extra time to incorporate the latest census data along with other changes resulting from the public comment and other government agencies’ review.   We remain confident in the transparent process and look forward to the Secretary of the Air Force’s Record of Decision later this year,” said BG Richard Harris, Assistant Adjutant General-Air.


The release of the report opens a new public comment period. The 45 day review and comment period for the Revised Draft EIS was initiated when the Notice of Availability was announced in the Federal Register on May 31.Comments will be accepted by mail through July 16, 2013.  Letters should be addressed to the attention of Mr. Nick Germanos, and mailed to: HQ ACC/A7PS, 129 Andrews Street, Suite 332, Langley AFB, VA 23665.
