A rapt audience of residents filled the space in front of the Library shelves recently to enjoy the phenomenal talent of the Emerging Artists of the Green Mountain Opera Festival.  This third annual summer opera concert in the Library was possible due to the enthusiasm of Taras Kulish, artistic director of the Festival, for this unconventional outreach venue.  Seven young artists, hailing from Boston, Calgary, Chicago, Mexico, and Montreal, performed exquisite arias from Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, with interpretation and levity provided by Bruce Stasyna, assistant conductor of the Palm Beach Opera Company.  A sumptuous buffet and lively reception for the performers followed, hosted by the Friends of the Library.  The performers were touched by the warm welcome by our community, and the attendees were thrilled by the excellence of the concert.
