SB Mentoring, the South Burlington School District’s school-based mentoring program, is actively recruiting mentors to join the program for the 2018-2019 school year.

Entering its eighth year in the schools, SB Mentoring matches caring, respectful adults, ages 18 and up, with young people in kindergarten through grade 11 for child and teen-focused activities that are fun, engaging, meaningful, and allow young people to uncover their interests and passions. The program asks mentors to share one hour a week with a young person when school is in session.

SB Mentoring is a partner in the South Burlington Healthy Schools collaborative, programs that empower well-being in students, staff, families, and community. For more information, please contact Healthy Schools Coordinator Susie Merrick at smerrick@sbschools.net and Assistant Program Coordinator Becky Fontana at bfontana@sbschools.net or 652-7035.
