The 2018 South Burlington Dolphins kicks off its 52nd season of youth football for grades one through eight Monday, August 13, at 4 p.m. Sign up is available online at www.sbdolphins.com, along with the Team Handbook, which will answer many commonly asked questions.
Coach Rene LaBerge says, “I was lucky enough to have the privilege to be able to coach youth football for 52 years now … because I have seen firsthand how, for hundreds of children, it changes their life forever for the better.”
The 2018 Sign Up Form is also at www.sbdolphins.com. Laberge adds, “Be sure to have your players invite their friends to attend the sign-ups and early practices so they can see how much fun we all have and how we can get in great shape at the same time.”
South Burlington Dolphins football is an all-volunteer youth football program which has served the area youth since 1967. With an objective to provide young athletes, regardless of sex, race, creed, or nation of origin, it offers the opportunity to play football for fun, in a positive and safe environment. The team’s goals are to teach the fundamentals of football as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline, physical fitness, friendship, and leadership. PRIDE is the Dolphin motto, standing for “Personal Responsibility for Individual Daily Effort.”
