SBHS 2014 graduate Courtney Barrett is one of only three women lacrosse players across the state of Vermont who received the US Lacrosse All American honor this year. The national governing body for US Lacrosse annually honors players as US Lacrosse High School All-Americans and All-Academic team members. The All-Americans are players who exhibit superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. They are among the best players in the United States while also embodying excellent sportsmanship. Barrett will be attending University of Massachusetts Lowell this fall to play Division 1 lacrosse.

Founded in 1998, US Lacrosse is the national governing body of lacrosse. While primarily serving the youth level, US Lacrosse, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is committed to providing a leadership role in virtually every aspect of the game.
