The 3rd Annual South Burlington Community Blood Drive will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. John Vianney Parish Center at 160 Hinesburg Rd. The blood drive is being organized by a team of South Burlington High School students known as the Rebels with a Cause, with support from the SBHS Career Development Center and the American Red Cross.
Most people over the age of sixteen are eligible to donate. There is no substitute for human blood, and each pint donated has the potential to save up to three lives. In addition, all donors will receive a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee, a certificate for a free car inspection from Midas, and automatic entry into a raffle with prizes ranging from gift certificates to local restaurants and stores to teeth whitening kits and teddy bears. 95 Triple X will be in attendance to provide music and entertainment.
Sign up to donate today by creating an account at the following link: http://www.redcrossblood.org/, or simply show up the day of the drive. For more information, contact student chair Avni Nahar at email@example.com.
