Top: DARE Officers Lindsay Wilson and Kevin Grealis celebrate DARE graduation with Chamberlin School fifth graders. Students learned about drug avoidance strategies, anti-bullying, and many important life skills that will help guide students down a path of healthy life choices and positive friendship connections. Right: Officer Lindsay Wilson stands with Ishir and Kenneth (L-R) this year’s Chamberlin School Dare Essay contest winners. The winners found a special way to articulate all that they have learned in their DARE classes this year. The DARE Lions, a gift from South Burlington Police Officers, represent the courage and leadership it takes to learn about and participate in positive healthy choices.
