Jeff Dickson, a resident of the Eastwoods neighborhood in South Burlington, is pleased to announce the opening of his own law practice, Dickson Law Office, PLLC, in downtown Burlington.
Dickson is a 1999 graduate of Burlington High School, a 2003 graduate of Colby College, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Montana School of Law, all with honors. After clerking for the Montana Supreme Court for one year, Dickson worked as an attorney at a general practice law firm in Missoula, Montana, for three years, representing and advising individuals, small businesses, and landowners on a variety of legal issues. In 2011, he moved back to Vermont, where he has primarily been defending employers and workers’ compensation insurance carriers at McCormick, Fitzpatrick, Kasper & Burchard.
This January, Dickson opened his own general practice law firm at 72 Pine Street in Burlington. He now focuses on representing injured Vermonters in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters, while also assisting individuals and small businesses with their general legal needs.
Dickson is also involved in the community, sitting on the City of South Burlington Natural Resources/Open Space Committee and regularly volunteering at the Vermont City Marathon. In his free time, you can find him hiking, running, bicycling or cross-country skiing with his wife, Rachel Allen, a staff attorney at Vermont Legal Aid.
