South Burlington High School (SBHS) students became part of a bag brigade last week unloading bags of donated winter gear for refugees. Over 30 students participated, including students from the SBHS Coalition for Community Service’s Syrian Refugee Project. Sue Minter (left), current gubernatorial candidate and recent Vermont Transportation Secretary helped deliver six car and truck loads of blankets and winter gear as part of her #HelpOverHate effort. Minter and fellow gubernatorial candidate, and former Vermont State Senator, Matt Dunne met at the South Burlington Community Library where the supplies were dropped off for refugees.
