The Rebels got shut out 3-0 against Rutland this past week. Erin Church made 27 saves in goal for South Burlington in the loss. With the loss, South Burlington falls to 5-11-1.
The Raiders scored the game deciding goal with just over four minutes to go in the 2-1 Rutland victory over South Burlington this past week. Elias Fleischman scored the Rebels lone goal in the contest, assisted by teammates Michael Flaherty and Brendan Lahue. Travis Gay made 27 saves for South Burlington, who falls to 6-7-3 with the loss.
South Burlington came up short in a 30-28 loss to Spaulding this past week. The Crimson Tide converted a pair of free throws in the final minute to gain the edge over the Rebels. Emma MacDonough led South Burlington with 10 points in the game, while teammate Elizabeth Khosravi added 9 points. The win is Spaulding’s first of the season, improving the Crimson Tide to 1-15 on the season. With the loss, South Burlington evens their record at 8-8.
CVU shut down South Burlington 60-49 this past week. The Rebels gave up a double-double to the Redhawk’s Walker Storey, who had 19 points and 12 rebounds in the game. Tyler Ayers had a game-high 21 points in the loss, while Jeremy Clements added 9. With the loss, South Burlington falls to 4-14 on the season.
