The FH Tuttle Middle School MathCOUNTS team earned bragging rights at last month’s state championship event.   At the competition held at Vermont Technical College campus in Randolph, the FHTMS team took the top award, winning the state championship. The top 4 winners of the states go to nationals.  3 of the top 4 students heading to nationals in Orlando, Florida in early May to represent Vermont are FHTMS MathCOUNTS team members! FHTMS placed 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th at the competition. Congratulations to team members Regulan Sivakumar (1st place), Liam Lustberg (4th place), Kailey Yang (5th place), and Helen Wang. FHTMS student Carleton Plourde will also be going to nationals, having won the 2nd place spot as an individual competitor. Team Coach  John Radimer has been working with the team all year, training for the event.  He will be coaching the team at nationals.
