South Burlington High School students visited France last month as part of The International Experience (TIE) program. The SBHS students were hosted by 20 French students who had traveled to South Burlington in the fall of 2015. Accompanied by SBHS teacher chaperones, Science Curriculum Area Supervisor Phil Surks and World Language Teacher Lori Dow-Moore, the students spent two and a half weeks in France during the February break. They traveled to Paris, then to their SBHS partner school in Perigueux. TIE Coordinator Theresa Mazza-Anthony reports that the exchange is the high school’s second longest running TIE program after Germany, which just celebrated 40 years.
