The Fourth Annual Invention Convention took place in the Chamberlin School gym on Monday, March 14. The goal of this imaginative endeavor is for students to create an invention that serves a purpose. This purpose might make life easier, solve a problem, or make the world a better place. Forty-four inventors presented their inventions to the school community on Monday afternoon and to their families on Monday evening.
The student inventors were very proud of their inventions and the design process that went into their creations.
The growing mindset that our students possess
will enable each and every one of them to think creatively to solve problems and look at life with endless possibilities.
In addition, there was a “Makerspace” of parts and crafts for younger siblings to tinker and create something out of trash and treasures. There was a great deal of excitement and ingenuity in the area where students could be creative, think outside the box and build.
