Renewable energy measurement equipment manufacturer NRG Systems announces the addition of South Burlington resident Amy Laverack to its team as a sales associate.

Before joining NRG Systems, Laverack was a summer student at the company. She worked previously at Rocky Mountain Power in Utah, as an enrollment representative for the Blue Sky wind energy program and at the Deer Valley Resort, also in Utah, as a ski instructor.

Laverack received her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and economics from St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY). She also studied abroad during college spending time in Africa and South America.

Laverack has been a volunteer ski instructor in Park City Utah for the Ski Utah program, which serves underprivileged school students in the state. She has also volunteered as a backpacking guide for Holderness School and conducted several backpacking trips to Southeast Asia.
