Linda LaBerge, longtime South Burlington resident, recently donated a miniature “Rebel Room” to the South Burlington High School (SBHS) athletic office. The room includes sports posters, SB pillows, trophies, cleats, pizza, Rebel daily schedules, a water cooler and even a a miniature copy of The Other Paper. The exterior of the “Rebel Room” is a replica of the front of the high school.

LaBerge says she enjoys refurbishing and furnishing dollhouses of all kinds, which, when completed, she donates to various local charities for the enjoyment of young people or for the charity’s fundraising efforts. She has created over 20 dollhouses and room boxes including a replica of her father’s gas station, which she donated to the town’s historical society along with two log cabins.

LaBerge volunteers many hours for the South Burlington schools and community. Her “Rebel Room” is on display at the SBHS athletic office.
