The Orchard School community had a great time at a recent Vermont Lake Monsters baseball game. Not only did the school chorus led by Orchard’s music teacher Amy Frostman sing the National Anthem, Orchard School Principal Mr. Trifilio threw out the first pitch AND the top ticket sellers received a giant check on the field. The giant check came in handy, as an impromptu umbrella to shield the Top Ticket sellers during a brief rain shower! The PTO’s 50/50 raffle brought in over $400 thanks to the generous donation from the raffle winner of their share of the prize. When this money was added to funds raised from ticket sales, the total PTO profit came to an even $1000!
