The SB Dolphins Youth Football program has just completed their 44th regular season.  Saturday’s final regular season tackle games were played in the mud against their long-time rivals, the St. Albans Steelers.  The first win was a 29–0 game played by the undefeated Orangemen (5th and 6th grade team); the second win was a 14–12 victory by the Blackmen (the 7th and 8th grade team)  to finish 5 and 1. The Blackmen will now begin the 2011 playoffs and hopes to play in State Championship with their first playoff game on Saturday, October 22 against Chittenden East.  The game will be held at the Dolphins’ home field at South Burlington High School.  All former Dolphins and Dolphin Family are encouraged to come and cheer on their PROUD Dolphins.

Ninety-seven players participated on the three teams of Dolphins with the 2nd–4th graders playing regular flag games. The 4th graders from the flag team who will be moving up to the Orangemen tackle teams next year, will be honored by accompanying the current Orangemen on the sidelines during the playoffs.

On Sunday the Orangemen participated in their annual Jamboree with other 5th and 6th grade teams from the league and the following Dolphins received honors:
