Top-seeded South Burlington junior Samantha Wulfson captured the Vermont Principal’s Association Girls Tennis Individual Championship title recently. Wulfson swiped a 6-3, 6-3 win over third-seeded Carly Watson to cap a dominating three-day stretch in the tournament that gathered 46 of the state’s top varsity singles players. She lost a total of only 10 games in four straight-set wins to the finals.

SBHS teammates captured the doubles individual state title as top-seeded Erika Price and Linley Shaw carved out a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 win over Montpelier’s Alexis Boucher and Caitlyn Bashara in the championship match.
