The South Burlington Community Chorus recently announced plans for their annual Holiday concert, “HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR,” scheduled for Sunday, December 16th at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center Exhibition Hall. Due to the overwhelming support of and attendance at previous years’ concerts, the Chorus will expand their performance this year, offering a fuller, family oriented holiday event experience, filled with fun, energetic and contemporary music. Selections include: “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” (from Elf), “Grinch Medley”, “Light a Candle”, “No Time to Diet”, “White Christmas Medley” (Berlin) and many, many more!
New this year, the HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR will include two ticketing opportunities:
Option #1 will feature a full dinner with musical entertainment and a cash bar, in addition to the choir performance. A seasonal beverage and dessert bar will be included at the conclusion of the performance. The Adult ticket price for this option is $50 per person, with a children’s Chicken Fingers dinner, priced at just $20 per child. Start time for this option is 5:30 pm. (advance tickets only) and is ideal for the entire family.
Option #2 includes the performance and the seasonal beverage and dessert bar. The Adult ticket price is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Students up to age 18 are just $5. Start time for this option is 7:30 pm.
In addition to the two ticket options, this year’s HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR will feature a Silent Auction throughout the evening to raise funds to help make this and future events possible and affordable. While the South Burlington Community Chorus is a non-profit organization, (with the generous support of the South Burlington Recreation Department), the chorus brings in professional musicians to accompany them at performances.
Attendees are encouraged to stay to “mingle after the jingle”.
