South Burlington’s 11/12 All-Star team went 1-2 at the Eastern Regional Little League tournament held in Bristol, CT. After receiving a bye, then waiting out a rain delay, the team finally had their turn on the field where they beat Massachusetts 10-5. This win was followed by their first loss since the start of All-Star season two months ago. They lost to New Hampshire 11-5 and were eventually eliminated by Rhode Island in a 7-1 game. Rhode Island would go on to beat New Hampshire for the championship. This was the fifth time that South Burlington has represented Vermont in the regional little league baseball tournament. Congratulations to the coaches and players whose hard work and dedication earned them an incredible week of baseball in Connecticut and a lifetime of great memories. The players are Nolan Antonicci, Ethan Borick, Will Bruns, Shane Burke, Luke Fitzgerald, Tyler Gammon, Mason Klesch, Ben Mazza-Bergeron, Seamus McGrath, Ethan Moore, Aaron Murakami, James Patrick.
