Girls Nite Out Productions will premiere The Family of Ewe, a funny and touching play written and directed by Vermont playwright, Carole Vasta Folley, on Thursday, October 3rd with a limited run of nine performances. Inspired by their mission to provide performance opportunities for women of all ages, The Family of Ewe features a cast of nine women from their 20’s to their 50’s, including South Burlington residents Kim Swain and Linda McGinnis.
This play is about women, who despite imperfections and challenges, choose to stand by each other and, when necessary, choose to confront and stand up to each other as well. In the end, The Family of Ewe is a story of women who become family – on purpose.

ABOUT GIRLS NITE OUT PRODUCTIONS: Founded in 2010, Girls Nite Out Productions came to life when actresses Jennifer Warwick-Sokolowski and Janet Stambolian determined that the best way to provide more high quality theatrical roles for women was to create the opportunities on their own. Girls Nite Out’s past shows include Love, Loss & What I Wore, The Odd Couple-Female Version, Hallelujah Girls and Steel Magnolias.
