John Walker, a teacher at Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School (FHTMS), was able to obtain new tennis equipment for the school from the United States Tennis Association. Through a grant process, Walker applied for and was awarded 25 tennis racquets, 3 free standing nets and dozens of balls. Tennis will now be added to the spring curriculum at FHTMS at no cost to the school. Interested students will be given the chance to learn basic tennis skills that they may use for a lifetime.
