Mercy Connections recently held their annual luncheon at the Sheraton where their board of directors honored Lisa Ventriss, president and CEO of Vermont Business Roundtable, with the Catherine McAuley Award for living and modeling the values of mercy and lifelong service to others. Ventriss thanked those in the room and honored the work of the organization, saying, “Mercy Connections is worthy of your trust, is worthy of your time, is worthy of your talent, and is worthy of your treasure.”
With more than 450 community members in attendance, the luncheon served as an opportunity for Mercy Connections to thank their sponsors and supporters. Featured at the event were testimonies from participants who had experienced various programs at the organization, including Mona Bruley, Bhavatarini Carr, Ange Greene, and Mark Karas, who all shared stories about the influence of Mercy Connections on their life and careers.
Mercy Connections is an educational values-driven non-profit organization living the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy with an enduring concern for women.
