Annie Brown Voldman, MAAA, MSPA, FCA, EA, was recently elected by the members of the American Academy of Actuaries to serve as a regular director on the Academy’s board of directors for a three-year term starting on Nov. 4, 2013. Academy members elected Voldman through online balloting conducted this past summer.
Voldman is a consulting actuary here in South Burlington. She has over 25 years of practice as an Enrolled Actuary and has been the owner of her own consulting business since 1994, specializing in pension and OPEB valuations for small groups. She has been a member of the Academy since 1987, a Special Director (2009-2011), has served on various committees, and is currently a member of the Committee on Qualifications. She is a past president of ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA) and is a member of the ACOPA Leadership Council.
The American Academy of Actuaries is a 17,500-member professional association and non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the public and the U.S. actuarial profession.
