Students at Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School build sets for their upcoming school production of John Van Druten’s “I Remember Mama,” directed by David Bailey. Based on stories from “Mama’s Bank Account” by Kathryn Forbes, the play tells the heartwarming story of a Norwegian immigrant family who settles in San Francisco during the early 1900s. Faced with many challenges, the family is held together by the mother, who is a humble, soft spoken, but strong-willed, protector. FHTMS presents “I Remember Mama” in association with the First Light Theatre Project and will be performed at the South Burlington High School auditorium Jan. 11 and 12, 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale mid-December at and will be available at the door before each performance.
