Cameron Wins Jewelry Making Competition

Carter Cameron’s winning entry.

South Burlington High School (SBHS) student Carter Cameron receives congratulations from Scott Richardson, owner of After Midnight Jewelers, for winning a jewelry making competition. Richardson was invited to bring his jewelry making expertise to the classroom by SBHS fine metals educator Erin Needham. Joining the class about once a week, Richardson helped organize special field trips and, under the guidance of Needham, sponsored a jewelry making contest within the class. Cameron’s prize, a gift certificate for classes with classically trained goldsmith Jane Frank, is sponsored by After Midnight Jewelers, and will allow the recent graduate to continue to develop his jewelry making skills.
