Chamberlin School Principal Holly Rouelle accepts an education grant check from Jason Bliss of SB Collins, Inc.

Chamberlin School Principal Holly Rouelle recently accepted a $500 Exxon Mobil education grant from Jason Bliss of SB Collins, Inc. on behalf of the Jolley convenience store on Williston Road.

In addition, Katie Salter of the Williston Road Maplefields presented Rouelle a $500 check for a second education grant.

Part of the oil and gas corporation’s Educational Alliance, the grants fund math and science programs at schools in need and is part of their effort to support science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education within the communities they serve.

“The money is used at Chamberlin for our gardens, science materials, and to sponsor events such as our Family Math Night and Invention Convention,” Rouelle said.
