Honor and Remembrance

Veterans, students, and members of the community attended a Veterans Day program at the high school on Friday, November 11.

Veterans were honored for their service throughout the area this year. The City of South Burlington Veterans Committee hosted a Veterans Day program at the high school Friday, November 11. the service included the Presentation of Colors, the National Anthem presented by the South Burlington High School Chamber Singers, and a special introduction by Captain Kevin Zaetz. Lt. Col. Laura Caputo was the keynote speaker.

Following the ceremony, there was a brief service and presentation of the wreath by the Daughters of the American Revolution at Veterans Memorial Park.

The fifth grade chorus of the Rick Marcotte Central School provided music for a Veterans Day event held in Shelburne.
