More than 200 people gathered at The Residence at Quarry Hill the evening of September 21 to celebrate the grand opening of South Burlington’s newest independent, assisted and memory care community for seniors. State and local officials, residents, staff associates, community residents, and LCB Senior Living associates joined in the celebration, which culminated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Owned and operated by LCB Senior Living, LLC, The Residence at Quarry Hill includes 84 apartments, along with 24-hour security, meals prepared and served restaurant style onsite, available laundry and cleaning services, an activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted living residents are offered the same, as well as assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing medication reminders, and other services.

In his remarks, LCB Senior Living CEO Michael Stoller said, “We are thrilled to formally open this beautiful community to area seniors. South Burlington is a phenomenal location at the crossroads between the many attractions of the region. It’s the best of all worlds.”

The Quarry Hill community also includes LCB’s Reflections Memory Care services for residents with early stage Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections offers its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities. All programming was developed in collaboration with Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
