William R Trahan, son of Holly and Daniel Trahan of South Burlington, and Ann Gruzynska, daughter of Olena Shockley of Washington D.C., were united in marriage Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. The marriage ceremony was officiated by Matthew Birmingham.
The bride’s attendants were Anna Novikova, the maid of honor; Yulia Benkovski, the bride’s sister; Kristina Gruzynska; Dane Hernandez; Elvi Barcoma; and flower girl Molly Birmingham.
The groom’s best man was Thomas Echols. His groomsmen were Christopher Trahan and Jacob Trahan, brothers of the groom; Jeffrey Brown; and Fadi Hussain.
Dr. Gruzynska received her DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia in 2013 and is employed by Tower Dental in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Trahan received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2012 and his Post-Doctoral degree from VCU in Richmond, Virginia in 2015; he is employed by Midwest Dental Implantology in St. Charles, Illinois. The couple resides in Wheaton, Illinois.
