Join us each Wednesday from noon-2:30 p.m. for a meal and program. Possible program activities can include: Bingo, movie matinee, concert, health and wellness, games and more. We will meet each Wednesday for a meal at noon and free program to follow. We look forward to this exciting opportunity to stay connected all year round. Our senior’s schedule is bursting with variety, based out of the City Hall Conference Room. We begin with a meal that can be purchased for $4 per person.

Menus are posted in advance through our monthly newsletter. You must pre-register for your meal on Friday by 9:15 a.m. prior to the next Wednesday to receive lunch by calling 846-4108. 

Everyone is welcome to come after the lunch for the free program.

June 5: Birthdays and Bingo

Meal: Turkey salad with sliced tomato and cabbage, broccoli salad, wheat hamburger roll, rear slices.

Program: After lunch, we will celebrate June birthdays with cake and music and follow that up with some spirited games of Bingo. 

June 12: Officer Sarah Bellavance and K9 Rush

Meal: Chicken fingers with teriyaki glaze, brown vegetable rice pilaf, Oriental vegetables, wheat roll, peaches.

Program: Officer Sarah Bellavance and K9 Rush will be visiting to talk and demonstrate what Rush does and can do for the South Burlington Police Department and our community.

June 19: Kat Patterson  – Cathedral Square 

Meal: Roast Pork cutlet, whole beets, mashed potatoes, wheat bread, carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Program: SASH (Support and Services at Home) coordinates the resources of social service agencies, community health providers and nonprofit housing organizations to support adults who choose to live independently at home. Individualized, on-site support is provided by a wellness nurse and a SASH coordinator. In Vermont, SASH serves older adults and individuals with special needs who primarily receive Medicare and who live in congregate, affordable housing – or the surrounding community. SASH Coordinator Kat Patterson of Allard Square will be joining us to share how SASH could be helpful in your life.

June 26: Popcorn and a movie 

Meal: BBQ beefsteak, baked beans, zucchini squash and diced tomatoes, dinner roll and applesauce.

Program: Movie - “Mary Poppins Returns” (2018) - Decades after her original visit, the magical nanny returns to help the Banks siblings and Michael’s children through a difficult time in their lives.
