The South Burlington Dog Park Committee will hold the first of two public forums on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the South Burlington Police Station.
The forums are planned around an online survey being released this week. Dog Committee Chair Barb Sirvis said the committee wants to use the online survey to determine what residents would like to see in a dog park, such as size, room to run, and the addition of an agility area, and other features.
The committee will compile the survey data and the information gathered from the first forum and narrow down the potential options before holding a second public forum. A report will then be compiled based on all of the input with the committee’s findings and recommendations. The goal is to present the report to the city council sometime in May 2019.
