I would like to remind my neighbors who reside in the Spear Street Ridge and Overlook Park View Protection Zones that they are responsible for keeping their trees in compliance with South Burlington zoning regulations. There are many trees that are way above the height limitations, and they are blocking the view that the regulations were put in place to protect. You can find the height limitations in article 10.3 of the South Burlington Land Development Regulations which is on the town’s website.

If your trees are too tall, please be considerate and have them cut back and maintained so that the view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains can continue to be enjoyed by all.
