BFA-St. Albans 61, South Burlington 24: After South Burlington jumped out to a quick lead, BFA-St. Albans responded with a solid first half to pull away for a win on Saturday.

Colby Casey had six points to lead the Wolves, who fall to 2-5 with the loss. Abby Collins added four points.


Boys Hockey

Middlebury 4, South Burlington 2: After taking a 1-0 lead in the first period, South Burlington gave up the next three goals in a loss to Middlebury on Saturday.

Ray Thibeault and Shane Burke each had a goal for the Wolves, who fall to 1-5-1. Ted Hopper made 14 saves.


Girls Hockey

South Burlington 6, Harwood-Northfield 1: The South Burlington girls hockey team topped the Harwood-Northfield co-op team on Saturday for the win.


Boys Basketball

Essex 66, South Burlington 57: Essex outscored host South Burlington 20-13 in the third quarter to pull away for a win on Thursday.

Brendan Bridge had 17 points to lead the Wolves, who fall to 3-4. Owen MacDonough also hit double-digits with 13 points.

Robert Meslin led all scorers with 20 points for the Hornets, who move to 4-4.
