March 8 at 1:46 p.m., deputies checked on a person who was having a mental health crisis and yelling and standing in the road in the Garfield Road area of Hyde Park.
March 8 at 2 p.m., Rasheem Richards, 45, of Johnson, was arrested for aggravated domestic assault and reckless endangerment, after police responded to a report of shots fired at a home on Route 15 in Johnson. Richards was held without bail at jail in St. Johnsbury. No one was reported injured.
March 8 at 3:27 p.m., a Johnson resident reported a case of credit card fraud.
March 8 at 3:38 p.m., Lance Bessette, 56, of Waterville, was arrested for driving under the influence, sixth offense, driving without a required ignition interlock device, disorderly conduct and interfering with access to emergency services.
March 8 at 6:12 p.m., a deputy mediated a dispute over a dog between two Hyde Park siblings.
March 8 at 7:58 p.m., a Johnson college student who had reportedly taken some substances was having a bad experience.
March 8 at 10:16 p.m., police served a temporary restraining order to a person on McKinstry Hill Road in Hyde Park.
March 9 at 8:29 a.m., deputies helped Morristown police deal with a car that crashed into a Brooklyn Street business.
March 9 at 11:48 a.m., deputies checked on the well-being of a Johnson resident.
March 10 at 7:20 a.m., a car slid off the side of the road near the intersection of East Hill Road and Route 15 in Wolcott. No injuries were reported.
March 11 at 2:10 p.m., a tractor truck collided with a pickup truck on Route 100C in Johnson, and both drivers were taken to University of Vermont Medical Center with extensive injuries.
March 11 at 8:05 p.m., a vehicle was seen stuck in a snow drift on Railroad Street in Johnson.
March 12 at 3:58 p.m., a deputy assisted a person in Johnson recovering their property.
March 12 at 8:14 p.m., police investigated a possible violation of the aforementioned restraining order in Hyde Park.
March 13 at 10:25 a.m., Kasey Hartwell, 26, of Greensboro, was arrested as a fugitive from justice, at the county courthouse in Hyde Park.
March 13 at 11:52 p.m., deputies assisted Morristown and Stowe police after a stolen truck crashed on West Hill Road and the occupants took off on foot.
March 14 at 11:29 a.m., a deputy served a restraining order at the sheriff’s office.
